CAT

Deutschen
Zudem
Nummer Zwei dort verkehrt?
In
hand...
THE CAT
& MOUSE CLUB
Until
the German PRISONER DVD was released viewers never saw this one
and unique facility of the Village, a pub that is featured
prominently in the episode "Free For All" because this
episode wasn't aired in Germany. This secret place seems to be situated
remotely somewhere in the cliffs. Its specifications: no alcoholic
beverages are served instead such that look the same and taste
the same. And apparently they do have some effect. Entertainment
is provided by a mechanical band.
Remarkable the fact that there should be a pub at all in this place.
More remarkable that it should be an illegal one. But is such a
thing possible with Number Two himself being a customer?
A
singing Number Six, microphone in his hand, is among some scences
that were omitted in the final version of this episode.
